Providence Journal Protest

One of ACT UP's ongoing activities involved protesting the Providence Journal, which they claimed was publishing perspectives that damaged the progress of their movement, while failing to publish the perspective of people with AIDS. They used multiple methods of protest, including demonstrations at the Journal, ending subscriptions, and stickering the Journal's newspaper boxes. Eventually, they got a meeting with the Providence Journal editors, and were able to make their demands.
